We got a pug puppy!!!!

Meet the newest addition to the Polnicky family

Rocky Collins 

Rocky is for the Rocky Mountains, which we all fell in love with while living in Wyoming

Collin’s is for Fort Collins, a city in Colorado where we spent a lot of our time 

This was one hard secret to hold to ourselves, but it was something that we agreed to from the moment we knew that the litter that was born had 2 females. 

(Yes, Rocky is a female)

We didn’t tell family, friends or even the kids. We wanted it to be a surprise for anyone. 

I mean, we do already have Luna, Emma and our cat, Charlie, so yes, we are a bit crazy to add another 4 paws to our family, but we felt drawn to her from the very first pictures. 

When the kids got home from school, we told the kids we had an early Christmas present for them. The 3 of them gathered around the box and a short time later, the shock on their faces were priceless. It was the last thing that they expected, a puppy! 

They couldn’t believe what was in front of them and how tiny she was, but the happiness was beaming from all 3 of them and Rocky. 

. 

Luna and Emma weren’t too sure of Rocky in the beginning, but they are warming up to her little by little. Rocky just wants to play with Luna and Emma, while Emma and Luna just want to be dogs and lay around, which does cause some friction between the 3 of them, but there is a lot of love there.

Rocky sure is loved beyond words and a perfect fit for our pug loving family!
